Sunday, December 11, 2011 ~ 11am - 2pm

Everyone is welcome to attend the International Agri-Center's annual Brunch with Santa in Tulare on Sunday, December 11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The annual brunch launches the holiday season with a free event for the whole family to enjoy. Brunch is prepared by International Agri-Center volunteers and is complete with pancakes, bacon, sausage, coffee, juice and milk.

After brunch, attendees can visit and take pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Children's activities will follow: learn to make candy canes and tour the AgVentures! Learning Center.

"We're very happy to bring the community together to kick-off the holiday season with a festive and fun event," said Margaret Uchita, International Agri-Center volunteer. "We look forward to this event every year-it's a joy to bring cheer to so many kids in our community."

The entire event is completely free of charge. Seating is limited and tickets are required. Tickets will be available at the International Agri-Center or R-N Market in Tulare beginning December 5.

Tickets will not be available at the door the day of the event. Call (559) 688-1030 for more information. The International Agri-Center is located at 4500 S. Laspina St., Tulare, California.

Progressive Agriculture Safety Day - *2012 Date Pending*

Safety Day

International Agri-Center is proud to announce the 2nd Annual Progressive Ag Safety Day on Thursday, November 3rd, at the International Agri-Center.

On October 20, 2010 International Agri-Center brought over 250 3rd grade students from the Tulare Rural Schools to our facility to teach them how to be safe on and off the farm. With the help of our local Tulare Fire, Police, Animal Control, and Sheriff Depts. we were able to teach kids how to stay safe and or what to do in an emergency situation. Other presentations during the ag safety day were electrical and chemical safety in addition to Garton Tractor from Tulare presenting Tractors and ATV safety.

2011 Progressive Ag Safety Day will include some of the same presenters but we will also be adding a water safety station to this year’s Progressive Ag Safety Day at the International Agri-Center.

If you would like to become a volunteer or donate to this wonderful cause please contact Kerissa Chapman at 559.6881030.
